Cookies and privacy policy

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for storing and accessing information on the User’s devices using cookies for the purposes of electronic services provided at the User’s request by Euro-Pegaz Transport sp. z o.o. Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5213405781,  ul. Domaniewska 47, 02-672 Warsaw.

I. DEFINITIONS

  1. Administrator – means Euro-Pegaz Transport sp. z o.o Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5213405781, ul. Domaniewska 47, 02-672 Warsaw which provides electronic services, stores and gains access to information on the User’s devices.
  2. Cookies – mean computer data, in particular small text files, recorded and stored on the devices by means of which the User uses the Website.
  3. Administrator’s cookies – mean Cookies placed by the Administrator, related to the provision of electronic services by the Administrator through the Website.
  4. External cookies – mean Cookies placed by the Administrator’s partners through the Website pages.
  5. Website – means the website or application under which the Administrator provides the online services at europegaz.com.pl and its subdomains.
  6. Device – means an electronic device through which the User gains access to the Website.
  7.  User – means an entity to whom, in accordance with the Regulations and provisions of law, electronic services may be provided or with whom an Agreement for the provision of electronic services may be concluded.

II. SHARING AND ENTRUSTING DATA PROCESSING

  1. The Website performs the functions of obtaining information about the Users and their behavior in the following ways:
    1. from voluntarily entered information in the online forms,
    2. by storing cookies on end devices
    3. by recording technical logs at the web server level.
  2. This Policy is an informational document and does not replace the security policy maintained by the Administrator in accordance with the general data protection regulations.
  3. In terms of data which are personal data under data protection laws, the Administrator is the Data Controller.
  4. Personal data are used for the implementation of sales contracts in connection with which they may be transferred to entities responsible for the delivery of purchased goods to the customer and, in the case of installment purchases, to institutions crediting the purchase. Customers have the right of access to the content of their data and to correct them. The data are provided voluntarily.

III. TYPES OF COOKIES USED

  1. Cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, by this means it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted software or malware to get into the Users’ Devices. These cookies allow to identify the software used by the User and to customise the Service individually for each User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they come, the time they are stored on the Device and the assigned value.
  2. The administrator uses two types of cookies:
    1.  Session cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until a given browser session is closed. The information stored is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory. The mechanism of session cookies prevents the collection of any personal data or confidential information from the User’s Device.
    2. Persistent cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until deleted. Ending the session of a given browser or switching off the Device does not delete them from the User’s Device. The mechanism of persistent cookies prevents the collection of any personal data or confidential information from the User’s Device.
  3. The User has the option to restrict or disable the access of cookies to his/her Device. If this option is chosen, the use of the Website will still be possible, except for functions that, by their nature, require cookies.

IV. PURPOSES OF USING COOKIES

  1. The Administrator uses Custom Cookies for the following purposes:
    1.  Service configuration:
      •  to adapt the content of the Website pages to the User’s preferences and to optimize the use of the Website pages;
      • to recognise the User’s device and its location and appropriately display the website, tailored to the User’s individual needs;
      •  to remember the settings selected by the User and customise the User’s interface, e.g. selected language settings or the region of the User’s origin;
      • to remember the history of pages visited on the website for content recommendations,

    2. The user’s authentication on the website and provision of the user’s session on the website:
      • to maintain the User’s session (after logging in), so that the User is not required to re-enter the login and password on each sub-page of the Website;
      • to correctly configure the selected Website functions, enabling, in particular, to verify the authenticity of the browser sessions;
      • to optimise and increase the efficiency of the services provided by the Administrator.
    3.  Implementation of processes necessary for full website functionality:
      • to adapt the content of the Website pages to the User’s preferences and optimisation of the use of the Website pages. In particular, these files allow to recognise the basic parameters of the User’s Device and appropriately display the website, tailored to the User’s individual needs;
      • to correctly operate the affiliate software allowing, in particular, to verify the sources redirecting  Users to the Website.
    4. Remembering the User’s location
      • to correctly configure selected Website functions allowing, in particular, to adjust the information provided to the User taking into account his/her location.
    5. Analyses, research and Website statistics
      • to create anonymous statistics that help to understand how the Users use the Website pages, which allows to improve their structure and content;
